Two Bein' Chili - Original Videos
If a picture is worth a thousand words, then a good video's worth at least a billion. We've shared our favourite videos below, enjoy!
Wildlife of Haines Alaska
This footage was taken over a few days while fishing for Pink and Sockeye Salmon in the Chilkoot River in Haines, Alaska. The salmon run brings all kinds of wildlife to the riverbank to feed on the delicious and nutritious tough guys - grizzly's, eagles, ravens, seals and of course humans. Sharing the river with wildlife, a balance of respect and sustainability is important, especially when it comes to the grizzly's!
One bear, the lone bear seen eating fish in the river toward the second half of the video, is an old friend of mine. BMJ is 29 years old now (born the same year as me) and I remember seeing her over several years, sometimes with a cub or three. She has had over 9 cubs in her lifetime but I don't think many have survived due to tourists claiming them to be a "nuisance" when they have gotten into fish coolers. Sadly the solution was to kill them because they had gotten used to feeding themselves this way and weren't able to fish for themselves. Apparently the last couple of cubs did survive due to rangers efforts to minimize contact between bears and humans. Typically grizzly's live to be between 20-30 years old in the wild. I hope she lives out the last few years in peace after losing so many of her babies.

Slow Bear Chase - Sharks of the Yukon River
The footage is a bit shaky but we had to show the world what happened. The chase went on for over 10 minutes!
Yukon River Fiver Finger Rapids
Surviving the Five Finger Rapids on our 2014 canoe trip down the Teslin & Yukon Rivers. This was by far the bumpiest ride of the trip, although it was a close second to bouncing around in the wake of the paddlewheeler near Dawson.
Paragliding in San Gil, Colombia
While in the adventure sports capital of San Gil, Colombia, we decided to give paragliding a try. Awesome time, despite Chelsea's surprise crash landing into a tree!
Mandrew's Guide to Appreciating Nature
A photo-based guide which shares some advice on how to best appreciate nature. I had a lot of fun putting this one together, looking over our vast and ever-growing collection of photos from our adventures in the wild. Hope you all enjoy! - Mandrew
Yukon River Canoe Trip
Six days, 228 miles, a close grizzly encounter, way too much sun, an incredible thunderstorm, and a constant feeling of awe - this was a trip we'll both remember for a lifetime.
There are few experiences more humbling than being alone on the river, floating through such a vast and beautiful wilderness. With the current constantly pulling you along, it's all you can do to eagerly peer around each bend and discover what surprises are in store: breathtaking rock formations, charred remains of forests, sand & gravel islands, looming storm clouds, and plethora of wildlife. This was the kind of trip that reminds you that you're just another one of nature's creatures.

Costa Rican Wildlife - with Marcos
Marcos Garcia, a local Costa Rican farmer and entrepreneur that we met in Mastatal, Costa Rica, was gracious to show us some of the most beautiful things about Costa Rica. On a quick afternoon hike and while hanging out on his farm, Siempre Verde, we saw countless birds, lizards and insects. This video is a summary of what we saw in a very short amount of time!
Yogi's Mural
Andrew and Chelsea paint a wall mural at Yogi's Hostel in Moyogalpa, Isle de Ometepe, Nicaragua. Watch it come together in this fun time lapse video.
